Norbert! Cool Mount for EVERYTHING and your DSLR

I just made this video for my buddies at K-Tek to play at NAB. It's about a camera mounting system called "Norbert" that has 19shoe mounts and 12 threaded holes on a frame, as well as a quick release for your DSLR. Great job. I don't think I'll buy one, but it's a cool video! It strikes me like a halo rig. It's a great idea, but I don't think I want to show up using one on a job. I'd be afraid I wouldn't be taken seriously! But who knows, maybe I'll come around.
 
It's similar to a halo rig, only more useful. There are so many ways to attach stuff. I don't know why you'd be embarrassed to take one to a job. It's just something to hold the tools you need for DSLR video. It's not like you have to attach absolutely everything like I did. I was just showing the versatility. And if you're going hand held, this thing steadies the camera. You can add a shoulder mount too.
 
Honestly the design just does not seem practical. The cage seems way to big and to put things on top of that would make things really awkward while shooting. Nice try, but in my honest opinion I don't think this design works.
 
I guess it depends on your individual needs. Norbert systems are selling like hotcakes, so I suppose someone likes them.
