"Nope" - who's seeing it?

I probably won't get to see it in theaters, but it looks gorgeous. I like that Peele is making straight genre films ("flying saucer movie")

#NopeMovie had really strong visuals and a wicked score that sucked you into the screen. Peele’s direction is stronger than his script. Keke Palmer is the MVP. Just wish the story was fleshed out a bit more to connect to the incoming threat.

Peele spent 5 years conceiving the story of Get Out before writing the script, and my impression is that his subsequent work doesn't achieve the thematic depth of his first offering, which was basically a masterpiece

I am going to see it with my wife soon. I get the same sense re Get Out and his subsequent work (so far). I really didn't like Us. His production of the Twilight Zone series reboot has been fantastic overall. He's really young and will probably write another masterpiece eventually. 100% ok with a straight genre film offering too. Give me all the Jordan Peele content
