GH3 Noob to Micro 4/3 Question

[Hidef1080]

I'm 99.9% sure I'm going to get a GH3 when they come out.
Are all M43 lenses universal?
Will an Olympus lens work on Panasonic MFT camera without an adapter?

Thanks for any input.

[Nori Kude]

if it's m43, most certainly it works.

yes. m4/3 is m4/3.

i actually PREFER the olympus lenses to most of the lumix offerings...

Yes, Panasonic lenses and Olympus lenses (and Schneider and Voigtlander and SLR Magic etc) work on Panasonic and Olympus cameras.

The only exception to universality will be the announced Black Magic Cinema Camera in MFT, which will not have any electronic connections and thus no ability to power or control any of the electronic Panasonic or Olympus (or Sigma or Schneider) lenses.

Very good.
Thank all very much.
