non-panasonic batteries in your dvx?

im not sure about thos exact batteries but i bought some "generic" batteries off the same guy for my vx21 and they work great, actually last about 40 minutes longer then the actual sony battery own.
 
yah i have the same batteries for my dvx except i have 2 of the 5400mah ones. they are great!! get the big ones. trust me, you'll be glad you did. i can go all day with one of these and i have one as a backup plus my orig. dvx battery if i get super crazy. keep looking on ebay. i got mine on the bay for about $20 each shipped. the only weird thing for me is that when my battery indicator starts flashing like it's dead, i still have about 30 minutes before it dies. unlike the stock battery which gives me like 3 seconds warning.....
 
The mAh number can be loosely translated to life. IE the stock 1600mAh will last an hour and a half at best. Those are 2000mAh so you're not going to get much better time then the crappy small stock ones. The higher the number the better. The batteries here on the site for example are 5600, so you can get over 5 hours on them.

Much better then changing batteries over and over IMO
