non-english GH1 purchase

Any hassle?

There are several languages available in the menu, therefore the possibility of choice or am I missing something?

But about the software, it says it is in the native language of the country where it is available for sale.

What is this software? Can I get a copy in english? If so, where?

Is there any other issue I should be aware of?

Yes...the firmware version.

I got a new GH1 from Taiwan (Fleabay). Firmware is locked. My older one hacks nicely.

Sold it...bought another ver 1.2 body instead (before they go the way of ISCO 36's...haha).

Especially when I suspect the GH2 is likely to be a "locked" underperformer :grin:
