FS7: noisy handgrip dial

Sorry that sounded a bit stroppy from me, not my intention. Please do be the guinea pig and report back on either the COntax SB or on violently attacking your lenses with power tools :)
 
Well I would not have suggested it except that I did out something very similar on some of my Nikon IA's . But there was a clear precedent on the web with instructions and photos so I trusted the writer. In that case the lenses were cheap and no one used those flanges to connect to old Nikon cameras anymore for Auto iris.

I'll just buy the contax adapter speed booster though and should be easy. Still thanks for the whole idea of switching to the Zeiss contax lenses . Perfect solution for me and not much more expensive than the Rockinon's with higher IQ. Should pretty much be a wash for me after I sell my Dulcos'd ZF's.
The Rockinon 85 I looked at recently flared more and had a lot more green/magenta fringing.
