Noisy footage.

Hey a little concerned here guys. Just picked up my af100 for the first time in a few weeks and found there was quite a lot of noise in camera, especially compared to earlier footage and footage on here. I was using the lumix 7-14mm lens, iso 500 and on barry's clean file recipe. The link to the original mts file is here: https://vimeo.com/49915090

I black balanced before as well. Any ideas what could be causing this? My small hd dp6 display showed a lot of noise.

hey thanks for the quick reply, im pretty familiar with that thread though. my concern is that this is in camera, as i see the noise on my small hd monitor (which i never normally see noise on).

Sorry about that...viewing on a I Phone.
Try adding a bit more light to the wall behind the TV. Med grey always has a bit of noise in it.

Hey thanks for all the replies, I recently finally got to take the plunge and bought an eizo fs2331 monitor so i have dual set up, and have immediately noticed the noisy footage does not look so bad on this monitor. Was wondering what is the best way to set up a dual monitor in adobe premiere cs5.5? I'm using my gtx 470 to output from my laptop to the monitor, but in adobe i see in the sequence settings quite a few options (ie a worrying one about 24 pull down or something, and giving two choices, one of which you have to select). Does that mean when I'm viewing my footage on the preview 2nd monitor screen, that it is not displayed 25fp correctly? Also wanted to add whether there's any reasonable good method to colour calibrate this monitor to a decent degree. I'm aware of the colour calibration tools like the spyder and how these cheap monitors arent as good as professional etc, but I'm just looking to save some money for the time being and get a ball park setting on the monitor? There's millions of different ways online, it can be a little daunting so wondered if you guys had a good tried and true method?

Apologies that this post is infact less to do with the af100. On second thoughts I should of written it in another section - though to be fair I find I receive more in depth and informative responses in this section of the forum than I would in the nle section. But sorry and please move it admin if deemed necessary. All advice is appreciated as always guys.
