Hi,
Just got my brand new EX3/5 (what is the '5' about?) and when Autofocus is engaged there is a kind of whine/whir/tap sound coming from inside the camera. It sounds like its coming from the SxS bay. At first I thought it was something to do with card reading but I worked out that it was the focus hunting for sharps.
Its not drastic by any means but I don't recall hearing this on the unit I tested. Does anyone else get this internal noise from their camera? It is annoying as the camera is best used with the eyepiece but this means head next to the sound. It's not that I intend to autofocus everything but I just want to try and work out if it's normal or not. If its not I will send it back.
