hey guys im gettins a weird problem. my gain is on Low, and yet i stil lget noise. or is it noise? ill describe it, the video is uploading now

when i looked at my footage, isee little specks moving all around, and its distracting and looks really ugly. Close up shots, or movement doesnt look as bad, but if my camera is on the tripod, and im looking at a wall, u see the pixels moving r apidly, can u avoid this with the 100b?
 
sounds like noise - is low gain on the dvx 0db? If you are definitely at 0db for gain then its probably just not enough light. should be able to tell more after footage is posted.
 
ok its just exporting, ummm

i did it in clear daylight, i hjad to use 1/8 nd filter it was so bright, so i def had light
 
try again with all gain off.....should read 0db in your LCD monitor if you have all settings displayed on your monitor. Gain will light up the grain like little fireflys
 
ok as long as gain is on 0 - in your original post you said "Low", just wanted to verify that it was set at 0. I would think that would be enough light - have you had this happen before?
 
when i said "low" i meant the GAIN on the side of my camera, by white bal, that meens light right? well thats on L, so should my Mid and High in my camera settings just be 0?
