Noise on Powerup

Hello,

Both my of my HMC-150s now make a "grr" noise when I start them up.

It sounds like the motor that moves the lens starting up or something...

I'm just curious if I should be concerned.

I think that noise is probably the OIS coming. I think it might be done by a lense supported in an electromagnetic field.

Or

I just pretend it is my light sabre powering on.

Mine does that, too. Maybe try it with the lens switch in 'servo' and 'manual' to see if there's a difference. Also, with OIS on/off like FarCountry suggests.

It's the OIS, the same thing you hear clicking around your camera when it is powered off.
