Noise, fringing, moire

Does anybody else have a hard time getting a noise free picture without any fringing or is it me? Seems like dark areas always have a certain amount of noise no matter what I do. Then theres anything with detail ( bookcases, trees, wood paneling, brickface, rooftops) always flicker. I've used the settings and have gotten most of it down to what I consider not bad, but its still there. When a shot requires such elements in the backround, or a shot that has naturally dark areas, how do I avoid any of this. Some of these issues seem like video issues anyway.
John Hudson and Sharckey have posted in the past they never experience the noise some of use have seen and dealt with and I am wondering what they are doing different to overcome these video issues.

Re: Noise, fringing, moire

With the 3200k white balance pre-set I get VERY little noise. I was shooting video at night and it was noise-free. Use a 85b filter during the day (someone suggested this and apparently it works great though I have yet to try it) and you should have no problems. Avoid cine_gamma_d, crank up detail coring, and avoid cinegamma and gain at all costs, too if noise bugs you.
