Noga Arm for Marshall V-R70P-HDA with Hvx200

I used the 3/8" Noga arm to hold my Ikan monitor and mounted it directly to the rod support camera base, rather than to the camera handle. Check it out on another post under 35mm Adaptors: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=124407

It's really not advisable to screw a noga arm/monitor into the HVX handle's threads. You are putting your camera and your monitor at risk by doing so. There are other systems available for mounting the monitor to the camera. Specifically noga friendly clamps, etc.

i HIGHLY recommend a zacuto rails/arm support system - pretty spendy but its by FAR the best quality out there.

I did just what you want to do for a year and a half before I changed to a better way of doing it. The biggest drawback was the noga arm was barely stong enough. Now I have a bigger noga arm with a 3/8 screw atatched to a rod system. Here's the link to pictures of what my rig looked like at that time.

I am a Zacuto fan as well and have been using that set-up for about a year and a half. It's incredibly stable and versatile.
