This is a little trans Atlantic collaborative effort I did with aspiring cinema/game composer Tom Kilworth. He sent me this short piece and I interpreted it in my time-lapse style:

What do you think?

I just realized that I put this in the wrong forum

Mods you can delete if you please. I'll put it in the right place.

why is this the wrong place? did you not use the HVX or something?

the timelapse looks pretty cool. that youtube compression is the worse though.

this is great..! i'd love to see a non-youtube version since the compression is just killing some great shots... but the shots really do work well with the music.

what kind of motorized head did you use?

and what were your settings on the shots from 2:42-3:11? they came out really nicely..

and i agree with the youtube comment... the shot @ 2:12 is amazing. is that the 2 fps hack? i've yet to try it...

WOW.. the starfield is AWESOME. I'd like to find out more on the budget motor head.

This is inspirational. I love doing timelapses myself and did some manual moves and didn't come out as smooth as there... WONDERFUL DUDE. I need to watch it all again..

Did you shoot the starfied with the 2 frame hack? How did you deal with the exposure and all of that.. FAB.. bro and great music too!

I put this link in the wrong spot... It's actually mostly done with a D200 DSLR...

Anyway, do watch for my motor head expose' (I have made home-made stuff in the past and you can see those) but, my latest solution is sweet.

We are talking a $110 solution and a simple bracket... Just about any budget could handle that...
