Nobody Smiling movie trailer ( dvx100)

Some good shots in there, and the fight scenes looked pretty realistic - alot of indie stuff i see have really fake looking fight scenes, so a good job on that. However I felt that the trailer didn't really do a good job conveying to me what the show was about, and as a result looked more like a collection of semi random shots cut to music... Just my 2c

I agree 100% it seems you have a good story and enough shots to make a cool trailer. Instead of random shots cut to music. I think the movie it self looks good just really need to rework the trailer.

DVX 100. No lenses. China balls. Boom Mic. Wireless Mics on rare occassions. Tripod. Dolly for Two of the 18 days. Thats all. Thanks for the advice guys.

The aspect ratio looks wrong to me. Things in the scenes are wider than they should be.

It looks as though you have some good material there. I agree with the others that the trailer could give a better idea of what the movie is about.

Did you use a polarizing filter at all? If not, I think you should have for some of the shots.
