Noa/Rice Digital Presents: "The Truth of Life"

UPDATE: Though I am MUCH more focused on trying to finish up Smuggler's Ransom, I am going to be shooting the last bit of the footage I need for this short today. I'm hoping it works out. I only have one shot at shooting this.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out our thread man. Appreciate the kind words man. I been checking back and forth on your Smugglers Ransom flick. I have been looking forward to that ever since I found this thread... And i'm always looking forward to see what comes out of your shorts for these fests.
 
You've hardly put anything up on this short. When are we going to see some "grabs". I'm sure you have something you want to share.
 
Actually to be honest... the short's kinda dying... it was a cool idea... but like the shots I was planning on getting today, I didn't, because I got so caught up in my bro's wedding (I was the best man) and really didn't have time or energy to do anything... we'll see if it even gets to the fest, lol. Might even end up doing something different (I know there's only a week left!)

But seriously, at least you turned the camera on and shot something for this idea. That's never a bad thing.

Yeah... life sometimes gets in the way... not to say I won't script, shoot and score something next weekend :) hehe
 
Ya know Kyle... I just got sick yesterday, and today I thought in my head, I could still do something this weekend... then I realized the motive for wanting to do it was wrong... I just want to do it because I feel people expect it... and that's not a good reason...

Last year 2006, I did, 3 shorts, and Smuggler's Ransom... Plus numerous little things here at work...I think that's enough... and I can take a breather and finish writing my feature script :)
 
Sorry to hear you're out, man... but yeah, you don't want to burn yourself out PLUS you need to focus on making what you're working on top notch and not mediocre just to have something new to work on.
