Noa/Rice Digital Presents: "Checkmate"

Here is the BIG announcement... Larry, and I as well as my producer Daniel feel that Checkmate is viable material for a longer film, possibly a feature. Therefore we are going to be working on another film for this dramafest. This announcement comes as a first to everyone, including the cast and crew. I apologize, but I had to keep it under wraps... hmmmmm.... this is suspiciously familiar. I seem to remember you dropping/changing/adding new entries during Horrorfest! Can we expect ANOTHER title change to match you 3 different approaches in the last fest! :grin:

Kidding. Good call and good luck. Checkmate is a monster of a story and deserves feature recognition!

haha, yep, that happened during horrorfest, and I have a nice short horror script sitting on the shelf now... for another day... But yeah, Checkmate needs feature length and needs more detail interwoven into the story, which can't be done in 6 min. or even 12 min. I think we made a good decision on this one.
 
No doubt. When we were all sitting by the pool and you were detailing Checkmate, I got a little concern when, after 20 minutes you said, "and then.... (insert big twist!).

I believe I even let out an audible gasp, if you recall. (or maybe that was when Mark touch my leg. I don't remember. :) )

It is an awesome story and can't wait to see it.

Good luck on Broken Shadows. (I almost wrote, "good luck on BS but caught myself! Bad initials for a title! :grin: )
