No sound with Frame Rate Converter

Sorry, this may be a simple question, but I don't even own a Mac, or FCP, this is for a friend of mine.

We shot a bunch of footage at 60p on an HPX and when it's put in a 30p timeline, and converted with Panasonic's download "Frame Rate Converter" the clip is slowed down, but there is no sound. What do you have to do to get the sound to play at 50% along with the clip?

Thanks!

If you shot 60p over 24p i.e. slow motion there is no sound recorded for any frame rate other than 24 fps.

No, it was just shot in regular 60p. At regular speed there is sound, but when put in a 30p timeline and converted, it loses sound. How would I slow down the 60p clip while keeping and also slowing down the sound?

Thanks.

Have you tried a sample clip - make certain it's a copy and using Cinema Tools?

Just conformed at 720/60p to 23.98 and it the sound, albeit the sound has slowed as well.
