no sound in film mode

Hi gang,

I think I'm having a total brain fart.

I returned my hvx200 a couple months ago and had the beeping fixed.
I just recently noticed that when shooting in film mode, I get no sound from either XLR port or the internal mic. If I switch it over to video mode, no problems everything works as per usual. I usually work in video mode, so I haven't noticed the problem until today.

Am I completely forgetting some simple switch or button that needs to be pressed or flipped, or do I need to talk to tech support and see if the problem happened during the beeping fix?

Nevermind...

I told ya it was a total brain fart, forgot about the syncro-scan being set to 30fps in 30pn mode.

sorry for the trouble.
 
Syncro-scan is shutter speed, not frame rate -- doesn't affect audio.

In pN mode, there's no sound when you record variable frame rates. I think that's what you were referring to, but I just wanted to clarify. :)
