FS7: NO Sony Fs7!!

I feel the same way. But, in theory, if the risk and mortality rate of taking no precautions dropped to the same level as the flu then we'd probably be ok

I think that's a long way off, sadly, and we will need to be working in unfavourable conditions for quite a while before it subsides to that level.

well, the pfizer supposedly holds up well at least against 2 out of the 3 big problem variants (I'm not sure about the 3rd). https://www.healthline.com/health-n...ws-the-vaccines-work-against-leading-variants

and it's possible that even if the vaccines are less effective, they might still be effective enough (and if enough of the population gets them) to let us drop the masks. I dunno. I need a reason to hope and a reason to believe this will be over soon. even if it's not

Tried the MC-11 with the Sigma 40/1.4 (on A7RIV) and 35/1.4 (on A7SIII)... they work decently for all modes of AF, but get kinda clacky noise-wise.

Thanks for the follow up. I also tend to get that click-clacky noise when using the MC-11.
