Looks fantastic - great composition, color, really, great job.

Did you shoot with the anamorphic adapter or did you crop in post?

Thanks!

We decided not to use anamorphic adapter due to the headaches those can give with focus. We shot wide and cropped in post for 2.35:1.

We have just got another review from the cool guys over at Beyond Hollywood.

http://www.beyondhollywood.com/no-right-turn-2009-movie-review/

"manages to be a sensuality and disorder raging beneath the surface. And so writer/director David Noel Bourke has created a competent film that is worth a view for fans of these kinds of movies and perhaps movies of all kinds."

Cool....although the review is a little mixed overall, ...but we'll take it!

Now, don't be shy! :dankk2:

From the trailer, the film looks like a very well made and interesting film. Did you use SAG actors?

Thanks again everyone.

We don't have the SAG system here in Europe, different countries have their own
organisations but usually actors just represent themselves.

Hey all,

Just like to point you to a podcast interview, David done with Deathtothemovies to tie in with the release on NO RIGHT TURN...

http://www.deathtothemovies.blogspot.com/

In this episode: We interview filmmaker, David Noel Bourke. David just received U.S. distribution for his second feature film, No Right Turn. No Right Turn is a "character-based dreamy movie blending film noir, pulp, crime and fantasy". No Right Turn will be released on Dec. 22nd, so buy yourself an early Christmas gift, or add it to your Netflix queue!
David shares some great tips on how to fund your film with a car loan, and how to find the right distributor that fits your film....

Have a listen,:-HeadPhones(D ...it's a cool website with fun interviews....enjoy!

The trailer looks like good stuff. Don't ever discount what can still be done with the dvx100 cameras, they look fantastic. We've used them on our last 4 films, and still don't want to switch to HD!

Yes, the DVX100 is still the best DV camera out there, a very good medium overall to shoot on, and it's cheap and easy to use in post. I mentioned in the podcast that it's really what you do with your format and knowing its limitations that really is the key to getting the best out it.

Our budget was very low, well below 100,000 dollars, I guess.

Hope you are all having happy holidays!

Hey all,

Happy new year!

Hope you are working hard on your projects already! :lipsrseal

There is NEW independent film resource site, I would like to share!

It's called HIJACK HOLLYWOOD, it covers a lot of stuff, REVIEWS, INTERVIEWS, BIOGRAPHIES etc, there is even 2 cents thrown in by David with some questions already.

It's looking for some other filmmakers too, why not give them a shout!

It's a cool site, let us know what you think of it...
