No remote flash

I had E-PL1 for one day. Its built-in remote flash was awesome. Simple to setup. Very reliable triggering. For strobist, it's very useful feature. I can't believe Panny's flagship camera, GH2, is lacking the feature. Although I have a set of remote trigger devices, I prefer a built-in feature.

I don't know why you're surprised. You should be surprised the E-PL1 has it, not the other way around; it's not a normal feature for consumer level equipment. Most of the people using these cameras don't use things like remote flash. While the GH cameras are being used for really high end video work, professional and semi-professional photographers are still using more standard SLR's, with no reason to change.

No excuse for Panny. E-PL1, A55, 60D are cheaper than GH2 and have wireless flash. None of them is a flagship camera. GH2 is Panny's flagship camera.

I'll tell you exactly why Panasonic doesn't offer it: Panasonic currently does not sell any hotshoe flashes with wireless built in.

Yes, they are the same flashes technically as the olympus, but because those are olympus flashes and not Panasonic's (which lack the IR wireless in comparison to Olympus), their not going to sell a product that requires buying a competitors flash to be able to use a feature.

If and when Panasonic decide to upgrade their flashes to wireless capable (which is unlikely anytime soon, as they are more expensive then comparable olympus flashes, and as such, don't sell as well), you'll likely see the feature become available.
