GH2 No private folder from GH2 on MBP

Whenever I hook up my SD card to my early 2009 Macbook Pro, I'm not getting a private folder. It says private with the Quicktime icon, and when I click on it it brings up a separate window to open up the clips in quicktime but won't let me drag or drop or delete and of the clips. Anyone know why this is or what I can do to get a regular folder? I've tried reformatting the card in the GH2 and it didn't fix the issue. The gh2 hasn't been hacked and is running ver 1.1

Thanks,

Is the card locked?

You need to right click and select "show package contents".
Keep doing that until you get to the camera files.

I expect you've just updated to Mountain Lion.

That seems to be it, why on earth would they make it so I have to show the package contents? I guess once I do that, I can now get to the .mts files and move them however I please. Thanks for the info.

It's mountain lion allowing you to view your AVCHD files in quicktime it's both a gift and a curse. But if you back up that file you are good.
