No Playback On My Camera Whats Wrong??????????????????????????????????????

PLEASE SOMEONE HERE HELP ME, I WILL PAY YOU I PROMISE, I NEED THIS FIXED NOW. JUST SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO FIX IT AND JUST FOR THE IDEA I WILL PAY YOU. I PROMISE.

MY DVX100B IS NOT PLAYING BACK, I CAN RECORD AND IT WORKS FINE, BUT WHEN I PUT IT TO VTR MODE THE SCREEN IS BLUE AND I SEE NOTHING. I REWIND AND FF AND THERE IS NO TIMECODE AND NO VISUAL, I TESTED VIDEOS THAT HAVE FOOTAGE ON THEM FOR SURE AND THEY DO NOT SHOW NOTHING AT ALL. WHAT IS WRONG PLEASE SOMEONE ANSWER MY QUESTION.

I know on the hvx you have to set the record mode to the same as how you captured to view it. ie if you shot 720p then you have to set the camera to 720p, if you set it to 480i then the footage wouldn't playback.

Grrr I Tried It Right Now, And Its Not Doing It, This Is What I See On My Lcd When I Try Playing The Tape Back.

And Nothing More...... I Dont Know What To Do Please Help Me Out...
 
So you've tried the tapes on another camera and there's definately footage there?
 
Yes There Is, Its Just Not Working On My Freaking Dvx100b. I Need Settings Of The Playback Settings From One Thats Working Fine I Guess. But I Really Dont Know What To Do.... It Bugs Me Cause I Need It Tomorrow. Thats Why Am Willing To Pay Whoever Gives Me The Solution.

Any Other Ideas Bro??
 
This is leftfield but try using cleaning tape, maybe the heads are dirty and it just refuses to play???
 
Most likely the heads are dirty. This happened to me. I freaked out, I was on a shoot and very nervous. It is probably still capturing fine - especially if you've tested the tape on another deck and it plays back fine. Just clean the heads. Don't run the head cleaner tape for long. I recommend 5 seconds and then check it. Just make sure you use a dry type cleaning tape. This can happen at any time and even if you have very few hours on the cam, it's still possible. Don't worry... yet.
