Hey. I bought a used GH1 Hack on eBay and now I'm finally able to use it. I recorded some video onto my Patriot LX Class 10 16GB card and snapped some photos. They played back in-camera, but when I insert the card inside my card reader USB to my Mac... there no photos or videos, just files I don't understand. There's a MTS file, a "THUMB.TDT" "THUMB.TID" A .VPL and .MPL and .BDM files and a lot of other nonsense I never seen.

Is there something I need to do before I can film?? Please help ASAP. I have a shoot coming up soon. The buyer claims the GH1 is already hacked with lpowell's 24p hack.

I should also note that I've been using the t3i for awhile, so I'm just used to dragging .mov files and coverting to ProRes. I've no idea of the GH13.

learn new systems ... .mts - that are video files (mpeg transport stream and inside are h264)
for convertinhg them to prores - 5dtorgb will helps you
or also you can use ffmpeg for converting to many other formats

And the photos will be in a different directory not in the same directory as the mts files. Check the photos storing settings, the previous user might have put RAW as the only output format.

Not to be the bad teacher or anything, but you sure could try reading the manual at least once. There´s much interesting stuff in it, not only where and how your files will be stored.
