No one has been able to answer my question so far... Please Help!!!

I shot a commercial with my HVX-200 with the "Recording Settings" set at 1080i 24p. I thought when I import it into Final Cut Pro the footage would be 1920 x 1080. But for some reason the footage has come out to be 1280 x 1080. Does anyone know how come; and/or can help me get the footage imported as 1920 x 1080?

DVCPRO HD (60Hz) is 1280x1080 with a 1.5 pixel aspect ratio (rectangular pixels). It's the same as 1920x1080 with a 1.000 pixel aspect ratio (square pixels). 1280 times 1.5 is 1920.

Everything is normal.
 
Thanks Dave. Another quick question for you though; when I record on my HVX-200 storing the footage onto my Firestore FS-100 I'm able dump that footage onto my mac as 1920x1280. Do you know why this happens?
