Or peeling apples. Slicing nectarines. Cleaning your fingernails. Stripping a wire in your car when you get a short. Opening a package you just picked up at the post office. Cutting gaffers tape. Trimming a cookie. Cutting the plastic off the dessert and making a slit over the meat in a microwave dinner you brought to work.

Ha! That's pretty funny. Thing is, if you have something to say about this thread, better say it quick because its getting political awfully fast. I for one agree with Mmm...can't imagine why you would need to walk around with a blade anyway. I mean, if you have no intentions of committing a "knife" crime, then why would you care anyway?

As a side note...the guys in jail for a butter knife? What did they think he was going to do? Peanut Butter and Jelly someone to death? sheesh.

Rick

PS Just for your info, knives are illegal in NY as well.

It's not political, unless you consider politicians (no matter what stripe) against all of us. Hardly partisan, anyway. All governments seek to control their populations as much as possible. It's the only way they can keep their jobs.
