No Internet

I'm in a bit of a conundrum. I restarted my mac on Friday afternoon after it went unresponsive (just froze). I had to hold the power button to turn it off. After said restart, I haven't been able to get on the Internet, even though the computer is connected to the wireless in the building (it shows the "fan" by the clock). I've googled it to see what I needed to do, but that's only come up with things like "try resetting your router." Unfortunately, the IT guys here hate macs and won't support them, so this would be like Christmas to them. Is there anything I can do on my end?

Call Apple support line. I was on and off the phone with them for well over an hour and they helped me fix a similar problem. Of course, I had access to my own equipment (router, etc).

Fortunately, the other mac user in the building doesn't mind telling them exactly how he feels. Problem solved.

Mods, this can be deleted to make room for more "Caption This!"

i think it would be funny if i was the only non-banned person with the custom title "bronze member". sort of an inside joke for the regulars.

I think it would be funny if you were the only banned member with the custom title "senior member". sort of an inside joke for the mods :)

oh come on now, i know you guys would miss me. i'm sort of like that guy that shows up at a wedding reception and starts eating the wedding cake, completely oblivious to the fact that the bride and groom haven't had their first slice yet. initially everyone is appalled at his stupidity and lack of social etiquette, but later on when you replay the events in your head, his actions become more and more hilarious with each bite. :cheesy:
