No Doubt Wedding Video Clip with Violence

Awesome clip, really enjoyed it.

The editing was top notch; lots of great effects and transitions in there, went well with the music and kept the energy up all the way through. What did you use for editing?

It's so cool to see a wedding video break the mould of b&w slo-mo, much respect for trying something different and IMHO excelling!

Hope your *wedding people* are chuffed to bits with it, because they should be.

Look forward to see some more clips.

Cheers

Nice Budweiser spot. Good product placement. The King of Beers could become the choice beverage of weddings everywhere.

I liked some of your shots, pretty good use of available light.

it definatly looked real good....

what did you charge for that.

cause i know the base 1500-2500 that i charge i wouldnt even considering going all out like that.

heh but thats just me.

if they wanted a "music video" i would charge them like an extra grand...because that edit could take just as long as throwing together the entire wedding...

Very nice, I like the 35mm plug-in for after effects. How did you manage to get the wedding party to perform like that? Oh wait, I remember seeing so alcoholic beverages.

I really like the two boys fighting, felt like a real music video.

Ok, that's the best wedding video I've seen yet. Funny yet something that doesn't cross the line. Very well done.

Give us some info on how you planned that shoot. Did you have some of the scenes mocked up in your head and then had the wedding party act them out? For example, the fight scene.

In post, what did you use for the effects? Lots in there but I think you did a good job mixing them in.

You also mention shooting 60i rather than progressive. Why did you select that mode?

Congrats on nice shoot. They better appreciate that video.

very nice! it was well shot, well edited, and very enjoyable. Did you shoot 60i because of the heavy amount of slow mo edits? was this just a part of the whole package or is this the only thing the couple wanted?

I loved it and like all the others I want to learn more about how and why! Man I want the next Wedding video I do to look like that!

holy crap! that was great! What a difference it makes to have the whole bridal party work with you and not act like, "oh ****, Im gonna be on camera !" I loved the fight scene with the 2 kids too.Good work man.

Your Hired! Wait I'm not getting Married ...but if I was you'd be  Great Job

Every wedding piece should have a music video that the couple picks the tune too.

This guy just took wedding videography and turned it upside down. The old school guys better pay attention. Wow! Loved it. Nothing but entertaining; which 99.9% of wedding videos are not.

Really cool editing and it actually was fun to watch. One question, though. Did you use some frame interpolating for slowmo? Because it seemed, at times, to show artifacts usually produced that way, not that it was distracting or anything.

I'll echo all the good sentiments here, I do think it is a great piece of work. I'm particularly interested in hearing about how you directed the participants.

My one criticism is that it seemed a bit long at times, needing to match the length of the song. I would have preferred it to be a little tighter. I notice that somewhere this is referred to as a video from the photo shoot - which I imagine is part of everyone's willingness and time to participate so nicely - but I think to fill out the length you have, it might have been better to include some material from the rest of the wedding. That is, this kind of relaxed time at the photo shoot contrasted in some small segment contrasted with the frenetic and dramatic wedding and reception....

Just my 2 cents... but I do indeed think this is pretty great as-is, especially compared to what's typical!

As everyone already stated, great job... Are you going to kick us down with some knowledge on how you pulled it off or what?

Don't be shy...
