!!"No Deck"!! help!

Hey all, i could really use some help. :violent5:

i just got my AG-DVX100P the other day. i firewire into my computer, and bring up avid. Although the computer recognizes the device (as some kind of video device), i get no input signal in avid.. yowch! auto config just bring up a "no deck" thing.

>>I created a new channel in "Deck Configuration" that goes from Firewire OHCI ----> Panasonic AG-DVX100P (which is the exact camera and model).. im still getting no input signal. also tried generic device and no luck. auto config still says "no deck"

>> i thought it could be the firewire card so i bought a new one today and installed it. Still have the same problem. "no deck"!!

Wow ok. I had the same problem. So deck configuration is all set? Includes Channel(added) and deck (added).

go to start-run- and enter this regsvr32 DVBuffers.ax

This might of helped me.

Make sure avid is closed then turn your camera on and then open avid. Try that.

ive been wrestling with this issue with several cameras on and off for almost a year now.

Hi I am having the same problem. I have a SONY DSR 11 and my computer does see it however Avid does not. I tried runing the regsvr32 DVbuffers.ax and when I do I get a pop up window that reads Loadlibrary("dvbuffers.ax") failed - The Specified module could not be found. Any kind of help you can give would be great. thanks!
