No Component Out!

I just took my HVX200 into my panasonic dealer and they were stumped...

My camera works fine... records fine... I hook it up to a SD monitor using SVideo cable out and it works fine in SD and HD recording modes... Composite (Red White Yellow) cables give me a picture on my external monitor... BUT when I plug the Green Red Blue ( I think that's the composite onw - the little mini-plug that looks like a small VGA monitor plug - I get nothing.

I cannot get a HD preview on my external HD monitor.

I have no clue why this is happening.

I called panasonic and they said someone will call me back... I'm still waiting!

PLEASE... if anyone knows what I should do I'd be very grateful.

I also tried resetting the camera.

Thanks!!

Barry...

I have tested the cable on another camera.... it worked fine.
Nothing is plugged into the firewire port.
The guys at the store inspected the pins on the connector port on the camera and said it was looking pristine...

I am really freaking out now... Please... any other advice?

Have you checked the Component Out Selection from the Menu?

...and the answer to this question was what?

Menu> AV In/Out

...and BTW - I can play out to an HD Monitor and have fire wire coinnected to Adobe OnLocation (PC) simultaneously

As output, yes. But if you're trying to input, then it won't work, it'll disable the component output for HD.

So yeah, my firewire comment probably just confused things; I meant as firewire input...

Yes, I just checked my AV in/out and the component out is set to 720. HP mode is set to LIVE.

Please... any other advice? Troubleshooting?

thanks
