Ok...im having a really annoying ass problem that made me almost throw my Bose system out the ****ing window.

I popped in a DVD and theres picture and sound on the tv and the surround speakers..but its all in black and white...i messed aroudn with the settings..nothing...the cords...nothing..its still black and white.

but i turned on to the satellite thats hooked up..and i get surround..and color video...but not on DVDs

Wtf is wrong here? if anyone knows? its a Bose Lifestyle 48.

the Sattelite is hooked up to the Bose..which is then connected to the TV box which then is outputted to the TV.

Using an S-Video cable? Or component? Sounds like the chroma wire is gone.

Or the television system is wrong (PAL vs NTSC). Not likely that, though.

Well..it worked like 2 weeks ago fine...because i had sum friends over and we watched a movie...and it was all gravy

im prettty sure its S-Video...theres like 6 different cords there....theres like an S-Video in and out hooked up..then they split to 3 other connections..Red Blue and Green. So there's a total of 6.

I unplugged them all and replugged them..and nothing...

there's also the Yellow A/V video hooked up too and I unplugged that..and i didnt get any video signal...i plugged it back in and its still black and white on DVDs but fine on sattelite.

i think i have a really stupid system..ill be back with sum pictures to show wat im talking about.

Sounds like you have composite video (the yellow RCA cord) and component video going on (red, green, blue). Could you explain which connections run to which components? I noticed you said that the satellite runs to your Bose system, and that then hooks into the TV box which then runs to the TV. Please outline which connections attach to each individual component. That might help.
