Hi everyone, just upgraded to a gh5 from a gh4. When I adjust exposure with ss dial I can see whether the image is under or over exposed via the ev dial at bottom screen. While I am adjusting exposure no changes are being made to the image in view finder. Images stays the same, does not get darker or lighter. What setting takes care of this?

Thanks for help in advance.

Hey there all, this has happened again and this time constant preview is on. I was shooting some interior shots today and looking at the images I shot to see the histogram. Jumping back and fort I hit the lvf button instead of the button underneath it to see the images I shot. NOt sure if that had anything to do with it. Now when I make any kind of changes the images does not change. What have I done?

Thanks in advance!

Also might be useful - if you’re using one of the user preset “C” function sets on the dial, you’ll need to programme any menu changes into that. Otherwise it defaults back to it’s programmed state on every power cycle.

Well I figured out what was going on. I have a cactus trigger that was mounted on the side of my small rigg cage. Its cord is plugged into the flash port in front of the camera. I decided to move the cactus trigger to my hot shoe. That was the problem. After it working for several months it changed after putting it in the hot shoe. The next day I started shooting and again it happened. After realizing that was the only thing I did different I put it back on the cage hot shoe. Works fine now. Thanks for responses everyone.
