i just noticed when i tried to write a word on all caps, the post ended up in lower case. no matter how i tried to change it. i think that is funny that CAPS is disabled. like someone making the updated version was like “no caps”. lol

any other weird quirks come up with the update?

I think it was done years ago to prevent 'shouting'. lol

I actually mentioned it once in a sales thread like 3 years ago when I tried to spell out a company's name that was all caps and it wouldn't let me.

That title sounds close to 'no cap' which is actually slang and means something else. ["I'm not lying." or "I'm telling the truth."]

what i find odd, is that i never noticed because sometimes i can add caps. let’s try:

XLR
ND
RED
CAPS
NTSC
PAL
RGB
RAW

the irony is that “raw” doesn’t even need to be capitalized to be correct.

I thought there was a 3 character limit but you've found some with 4. Maybe there's a list of approved words but then sometimes I guess one works or doesn't work.

well, that allows for some FUN

I started the CES thread by typing CES. Or, at least, I think I typed CES in the title. But it came out as Ces.Then I tried to correct it to CES. Twice. Then I gave up. That's because I give up EASILY.

Correct. Per VBulletin: "Prevent your users 'shouting' in their topic titles/message text by changing all-uppercase titles with at least this many characters to capitalization only on the first letters of some words." For our site, character limit is 4.

thanks! :)

this is also starting to look like a clever title for Apple stock watch. They really have no cap on their value these days.
