No Budget No Crew Music Video in NYC

Hey EJ its a good video for just starting out. The shots in the city were good and the opening credits were good.
Just work on your critical focusing and make sure you always have your subject lit in some way. If only You as the crew then go to home depot and but a florescent or LED camp light or something that you can use to light your singers face. It was very dark at time as well as the girl also.
Sometimes its better to do the lipsyncing on a controlled and lit area. If you want the street vibe then make sure your always around a street or store florescent light.
Lastly you had such good opening credits but your ending credits looked very basic and no email. You are trying to sell yourself so provide information for people to contact you.
Keep going you will get better!
Try renting Zeiss lenses becuase they are awesome!

Good stuff, but:
As someone who lives and (tries) to work in NYC- why is every production- small crew, no pay?
Fortunately, I do find enough work- but unless you're a student, intern, willing to work for food or some "cool footage for your reel!" it's becoming a very watered down profession
