No Audio on DVX

Hey guys

I lent my cam to a friend, which I shouldnt have done in the first place.
But now that I got it back, the timecode is out of wack and theres no audio.

First the timecode. It says UB with zeros and when recording it stays zeros. Not the usual TC on it.

Second, I have no audio output going. It records audio cause the channels are active but during playback and headphones, nothing.

Please help soon cause I have a shoot to do this month. Thanks guys
oh and my advice to yall, DO NOT lend your cam to ANYONE. Not even your filmmaker wife, have it buried with you when you die. I mean it
 
Have you checked to see what your timecode is set as - Rec Run is probably what your used. Sounds like maybe its on user. I'm foggy on that one though. But a look in the manual should clear it up.

Audio - is the volume up? Stupid question but I do it all the time :)
 
So how do I turn off the USER function? Ive tried everything.
But the most important is the audio

No the volume is fine, even shooting I plug in the headphones. Nothing. Playback, no audio.

PS - this is from a guy I lent to who says he never touch any of the menu settings. Dont lend your cam, not even to your son in your Will. Remember.

Hahaha ... Nice piece of advice ... I guess you should try to reset your camera (only after thorough checking to get TC n Audio back) ... The reset causes your camera to go back to its original factory settings ... It must only be performed when your camera behaves abnormally ... Also do keep a note of all your custom scene file settings etc. before doing that ...

Any sugestions ...

Is and where is the volume control on this camera BESIDES the obvious 2 circles on the left bottom side.
