No audio in 30p mode

This is strange.

Whenever I turn my camera into 30p mode, I have no sound. Then, when I switch it back to 60p, the mics work fine, and I get an audio signal.

Anybody else encounter this problem?
 
The only thing i know that disables the sound is VFR, have you somehow turned that on somewhere in a scenefile maybe?
 
check your VFR (variable frame rate) setting. having it enabled, in certain setups (like 30pN) can disable audio.

check page 45 of your manual. at least that's what page it's on in my 300 manual.

The above is all correct, VFR is a setting that can be saved to a scene file, but only works in certain system settings. If you switch to a system mode to one that VFR is supported in, it turns on automatically, so make sure to switch it off, and save the scene file.

This setting can be a little confusing because even if you have VFR set to the same frame rate as the system setting, it still won't record audio, as though you have it set to something else.
