NLE's, shooting, etc...?

[ruester]

It's been a while since I posted here.... long time no see.
I've been searching, but it's hard to find the relevant info... I am a little retarded according to my mother-in-law, lol.
1)What NLE's are currently supporting the HVX200? (and which works best with it?)
2)Is B&H's deal with the 2 8Gb memory cards (w/HVX200) a decent deal, or are there better?
3)What are the good Matte boxes available and is with rails or without a better option?
Thanks, I know it's a lot to cram, but hopefully may benefit other new users as well, and yes I am buying my HVX200 within the week and need final advice, yay!!!

that's a lot of questions grasshopper!
Perhaps you could get your mother-in-law to help?
(sorry, just poking a little fun).

NAB announcements may change the NLE landscape but so far it's looking like FCP, Avid and Edius Broadcast.

You really should take another crack at a search . . . most of your questions have been answered many times.

I know it's all been said, and sorry for the redundancy, I've brought up the topics that concern what I asked, but all the info is really spread out, so I was hoping to consolidate some of the info, unless you (or someone) have a link to answers for my questions. Thanks, I know it sounds lazy, but would also consolidate the knowledge for at least future seekers. Thanks again,
