I Indyreel Well-known member Mar 17, 2010 #1 I have recorded files with the H4n and then brought them into my timeline with no problems. Today, however, I cannon drop them into the timeline. I don't understand. Existing files drop in just fine, but what I recored today does not. Can anyone help?

Alex H. Moderator Staff member Mar 17, 2010 #2 A little more info would be helpful. What NLE are you using? What recording format did you use? Did you record in a different format on earlier shoot days?

I Indyreel Well-known member Mar 17, 2010 #3 I'm using Pinnacle Studio Ultimate Version 12 Recording format - WAV 48Khz/24bit. I don't think I recorded on a different format. If I did it was 16bit instead of 24bit.

Convert your 24-bit files to 16-bit and you'll be good to go.
