Nitro Circus... the most amazing... must see "stunts".

Anybody else watch this? It's on MTV2 in STL. It's executive produced by Johnny Knoxville... with Travis Pastrana as the "head nut"...

It's a little "jackassy"... but man... they have some serious crap they do on that show. If just ONE of their little stunts was the centerpiece of a James Bond film we'd be talking about it for weeks... and they do one or two like that per show.

Some episodes stronger/weaker then others... but jumping a dirt bike... backflip... over the 75' gap between two buildings some 8+ stories up? Uh... you gotta' see it.

Riding a big-wheel down the "mega ramp" outside of LA... again (repeating theme) backflip?... gotta' see it.

Jumping out of a plane with NO parachute... and letting guys with chutes hook up to you during free fall? C'mon... nuts? Yes... but freakin' amazing also. You can say this is stupid... or the guy is crazy... or whatever... but there's no denying the visuals... while it's packaged in a reality shooting style... the crap they do is jaw dropping.

So... anybody else enjoying this "low brow" entertainment?

I'd have to check... I'm not a fan of the "jackass" side of the show. It's the actual stunts that have pulled me in.

(actual big wheel jump starts at 8 seconds in... on the show another guy follows on skateboard and gets the most amazing shot of a previous attempt... cam is on him from a following POV)

(attempt to forward flip a suzuki GSXR, yes... STREETBIKE... goes wrong... check the actual AIR)

Stupid? Yes.

Amazing? Absolutely.

I have liked Nitro Circus ever since Pastrana jumped out of a plane with no parachute, good stuf but some of the other stunts get really old really quick.

Yeah, pretty amazing stuff---on the verge of reckless. That little kid got the thrill of his life!.
If I ever see that big wheel flip in a James Bond movie, I will be talking about it for a week.

Oh man, those ramps still make me nervous! I remember looking down on just a 12 foot halfpipe before dropping in, and my hands started sweating so bad! They're actually sweating now just thinking about it. I don't know how those guys do that from so high up there.

All in all, that was pretty awesome! Oh to be young, irresponsible, and not paying my own health insurance again.
