Ninja data recovery?

My apologies if I'm posting in the wrong forum, but I was hoping someone could help me. I got back from a shoot, recording from a Sony FS-100 onto a ninja, and I checked out the footage from the reader and everything was there. Next time I went to go look through the footage, it was gone. Long story short, anyone know anything about data recovery with ninjas or if there's some setting I might've changed without knowing? When I look at the drive info, it still says there's space being used on the drive, but no thumbnails anymore. Any advice or a kick in the right direction would be incredibly helpful! Thanks!

How could you use a DVX100 with a Ninja? Ninja has only HDMI input, and the DVX has only composite and s-video output...
 
i would investigate other options first, but if you don't find an easy, fast fix, consider http://www.aeroquartet.com/.

the process is not fast, it'll will probably take a couple of days of back and forth to complete all the steps because of the time difference (unless you're in the same longitude as Spain) and... other delays. but the product is sound and not terribly expensive compared to what many will charge for data recovery.
