Ninja 2 with AF100, faster workflow?

I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death but I'm having a hard time finding the answers to my questions so figured I'd ask you fine folks!

I've been shooting a lot of stuff on my AF100 lately that requires a fast turn around and have been considering getting a Ninja 2 recorder in hopes that it will speed up my work flow. I'm shooting in 24p and 30p (depends on the project) and was hoping that the ninja would eliminate the transcoding process and allow me to go straight to editing since I'd record in prores 422. I keep hearing about having to de-interlace/reverse telecine footage to get files back to 24p before editing. I'm also seeing on the atomos site that the updates from the ninja to the ninja 2 may have solved this? http://atomos.activehosted.com/kb/article/samurai/g5

Do I still need to process footage to edit in 24/30p or will the ninja 2 output footage natively?

Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I understand that the signal out of the AF100 is 60i but do the settings described in the above link do the pull down before I import the footage or do I still have to do the pulldown on my computer. Is the ninja 2 really going to save me much time if I have to go through this process?

I'm not overly tech savy so thanks for your help!

I've shot with the AF00 and ninja 2. When you first connect 60i is the only option, but if you tap on the text it changes to 30p or 24 using 3:2 pull down. So far no problems with interlacing at all. Either the ninja or samurai make a perfect compliment
