Ninja 2 / Samurai, SDI vs HDMI?

Hey,

I'm considering renting a Ninja 2 for a shoot. As far as I know, the Ninja 2 is HDMI only. Is there any difference in quality going from HDMI or SDI? Is it worth the hassle of renting a Samurai from a different place from where I'm renting the rest of the stuff for the shoot?
 
It's a hassle. A bit more of a headache. Then again I'm tired of HDMI cable failures. SDI is better IMHO hands down. It is more secure of a connection I feel. I avoid HDMI like the plauge.

But this is all personal choice. for me. And renting from 2 places can be a hassle.
 
Yes, will be serious time constraints so renting from two places would be major hassle. So if there's no different in image quality, then I'd be fine with HDMI in this case.
If id buy one it would be one with SDI for sure.
