When I was working at Westwood, one of the guys there had a vintage VW Bus. It was, IIRC, that EXACT same color.

And I'm with David... it has some appeal. It's odd, yes, but oddly appealing...

The hull design looks to be somewhat more survivable to IED's than your average electric car. And they also need to make an amphibious/submersible version.

Nice find. The VW Beatle makes a comeback. In an odd sort of way. Interestingly odd, and oddly appealing.

Hope they can score more development cash. That thing will suffer mightily in wind tunnel testing; but it has to happen if it's ever going to make it to production.
