Driving West on Santa Monica Blvd, noticed the Good Year blimp silhouetted against an unusually detailed sky:

Hey man, that's my wife's building over on the left with the light on, and we live about three blocks from this picture on the right, down Beverly Glen Blvd. I think that's where you are anyway, kinda dark. Oh, and that McDonalds right there has caused me years of self-deprecation.

Just thought it was an interesting note :)

That's funny, I just noticed how the arrow points toward the blimp myself. The mind works in mysterious ways.

I grabbed this while driving. Handling the D300 was kinda awkward but when you see a shot...
Yep, driving NW on SM Blvd.

No crop, no pp.

Hi all, it's been a long time since I posted here (hmc keeps me busy).
Here is a photo taken 2 hours ago. We have a really foggy night today.

the fog is real and the and the blown area in the windows is post as the original has full detail in the window. It was a 20 second exposure photo.

Nothing particularly glorious, out taking some pictures of a friend of mine as a favor, also happened to catch a sparrow perched on a fountain.

I'm always so impressed with the quality of photos on this thread and want to say thanks for sharing and may you all have a great and merry christmas and happy new year.

I love the grand canyon and AZ and hate my brother for just moving there and enjoying 65 and 70 degree weather while stuck up here in Seattle with 20 degrees and snow. What happened to the rain?
