Alv,
I need to get into the business you are in. I looked at some of your photos also and let me tell you, you went from 0 to 90mph with your photography. Brilliant looking photography. You are shooting portraits the way they should be shot. Keep feedin them. Good job!

Thanks guys. I like the added grain the the derby shots. It reminds me of the roller derby shots of the 70's, that was my goal. I may have missed the mark but I was just having fun. I guess I could lose the grain, it's all done in post. I'd like more thoughts on this, does anyone else have a problem with the grain? Hmm.

Hey Matt, what image do you want info for? For my outside wok I use an SB-600 and bounce. For inside it's a mix between a softbox, natural lighting and the SB-600.

Thanks Giz, You guys keep me inspired and motivated, thanks for the supoort and sharing your work.

I liked 10 and 12 on that derby series. Man, I can't believe that still goes on, that was the 70s!

Oh, and my previous post, I meant peace of mind, not piece of mind, that's a whole 'nother meaning.

Dang it, I changed the order just before you posted, not sure which ones you mean. Oh, and there's an LA Derby Dolls too so you should go check them out.

Here's something I took with the D80 the other day. The kids were generally good sports...until the ride back home. ;)

ha - I mistook it for snow too! Wondered how you talked em into standing there without some heavier footwear... I suppose there would be snow on the mountain though huh... Cool picture either way :)
