Just giving ya shite. Congrats. Really like that first pic... what "generic" lens are you using?

Good shots...And here's wishing the whole clan stays healthy and happy. Congratulations!!!

The 28-80 garbage. I shot the next two (one is out of focus because of the low light and I didn't want to change to 400 iso) with the Nicor 1.8 55mm

Damn Jpos........those are some fantastic photos. Many of your subjects are horn players...friends? Family? Just people you know? The scene youre in? just curious. great stuff.

Some pics I snapped at a mall for one of my digital photo classes. just trying to get through the assignment with as little trouble as possible so not all that great. I have others and i'm trying to narrow down my top 5 or so pics.

Yeah Ipos... you are freakin' me out. There's nothing more to say... I hope you do this for a living... because I can't imagine that you could be better at something other then photography.

thank you guys.

@ rlm7189 : I'm a musician (flutist), so i am lucky 'cause i have many friends who are musicians.

@ Matt : I was teaching flute for 4 years for living, but from this year i'm trying to work as a photographer. Unfortynatelly, i'm living in a small town and the jobs are very limited. I'm thinking of moving to Athens because there are some magazines that they want me to work for them. Moving is a little bit difficult though...

Thanks again guys.

I stand by one of my original statements, you're the best photog I've seen on this site. I always look forward to your shots. Get out of that town and go exploit your talent.

Wow...I would have to second what Alveraz said! You have tremendous talent. You need to take what you have a run with it. I can't believe your photography! It takes my breath away every single time I see them! Please don't let it go to waste! I am just hoping and dreaming that I can acheive photos like you someday!

Yeah Ipos your stuff's brilliant, sky's the limit for you.

Anyway I just got a D80 yesterday, it's my first still so be gentle.... all of these are auto setting with the 18 - 135 kit lens and have been played with a little in post. I haven't cropped any properly yet.

You've got that "it" factor man. It's like this, with the same model, camera and settings I couldn't achieve this shot. But that's just me, there are others here that may come close. I'm not blowing smoke up your bum, I'm just trying to support you're move from that small town to somewhere you can blossom and hopefully live off your art.

When you have this kind of talent, holding back not only cheats you, but the people in the world that need art in their lives (esp. children). I have some very talented artistic friends that understand what art can bring to others, and that's an important part of the puzzle to understand. There is a reason it's called a "gift". Go give it.

Good luck!
