Brinkhaus,
Nice pic you got. Havent seen you around lately. What's going on...go back a couple of pages to see what i did recently!

I took this sat. night at the south st sea port. No tripod, just set it on the railing pillar thing. I'm new to photoshop, does anybody know how to darken the sky w/out messing w/ with everything else. The quick selection tool wasn't working to well.

Thanks!

I've had the D50 for a few months now with the 18-55mm kit lens. This camera is extremely fun to play with, as I'm sure you're all aware. Haven't had photoshop for about a year now so all of the images are straight from the camera. I hope this isn't too much for one post...

Create a new Adjustment Layer (Levels would work best), set its blending mode to Multiply or one of the other darkening blending modes, and then after using Levels to darken the whole, use the Layer Mask to "erase" what you don't want darkened.

Oh my God nice.... I just lost my breath for a second.

The previous "client" shot is really really really good also.

And Julian... that bridge over the water shot is freakin' me out... wow. Great stuff in this thread.
