Nikon User Thread

Here's a shot i took of a kid watchin me take pics at the ShrimpFest in Jville. I think he was mimicking the way I was holding the cameras ( i had my video camera too)

I think this thread should be retitled the "Nikon DSLR User Thread".
Why exclude the D80, D2h, and D2x?
 
I'm pretty sure you can dump in a shot from any Nikon DSLR and you'll get no protest... in fact I'll bet the thread title changes now that you posted that anyway (AGAIN... it was originally the D50 thread!)

So post your darn pictures already!

I usually don't bother flexin' skills on these boards, I like coming here to talk tech, and balance my brain on the matter, but here's a pic I did recently of a friend's band. It was pretty spur of the moment, no real planning or special set ups for the photo like I would have liked to do, pretty plain Jane, mostly PS work obviously. Shot with my friend's borrowed Nikon D50 and his stock 18-55 lens.
But I just got a Nikon D80 body and I'm on the prowl for a nice lens so that's why I made the comment about the thread title.
Anyway.

I think it's a pretty kool shot. I like the tone and feel of it.

Thanks, I appreciate it.
The band really dug it too.
I plan on getting a 2.8 wide zoom to mount on my D80 for the upcoming shoots, the results from that shoot; allowing time for set ups etc. should be even better.

nikon d80 and its built in wireless.. i tell you man it kicks ass. I just switched to the D80 last week and picked up a SB800 and 2 SB600 speedlights.. you can put them all over the place and they work wonders.
