nikon to eos adapter

Hello,
I bought this adapter on ebay. The AF confirm works fine and the built quality is good.
I tried to mount it on a Helios lens but the fit is a little but too loose so that when I use it on the camera the lens moves, when you focus mostly. One time I was able to get it more stable but I dont know if it was stuck in a wrong way that made more stable. I don't seem to find any other way to mount the adapter but just one way and the fit is loose, is it just me or a common thing?

I have this problem too occasionally. It depends on the mount and adapter. Make sure you have attached the lens securely to the adapter.
My worst problem would be some "play" of the lens on the adapter.

I'v got several adapters and most of them allow some movement

it's usually a roll, and sometimes a very minor shift, but never a tilt, so it doesn't affect the image in any way

and the lens is properly secured and wouldn't ever come off, so it's not a problem

the only ones that are absolutely firm are two pentacon-six to EOS fotodiox pro adapters; all the others are non-pro fotodiox (M42-to-EOS and leica-R to EOS)

The Cinevate adapters are super snug, but they don't have AF confirm. There are Chinese knock-offs for sale, but don't know if they are on par with them.
