Up for sale is a rare Nikkor Ai-s 105mm F1.8 very fast telephoto/portrait lens. It is a fully manual focusing lens for full frame format, of course also compatible with APS-C sensors, adaptable to Canon, 4/3 and micro 4/3 and others with optional adapters.

It is mechanically in very good mint condition. Both focus and aperture rings operate smoothly without problems. No fungus, clean and clear glass without damages. Lens housing shows normal (minor) wear. Lens Never been dropped. When not in use it has always been stored in my professional dry cabinet! I had the lens CLA'd by Nikon Hong Kong about a year ago.

It comes in the original box with original front and rear caps, there is a built in retractable lens shade.

I have an old 105mm 1.8. Dose this one telescope when you focus as well. Wasn't sure if they had changed the design at all.

Yes this one telescopes when you focus, as far as I know the design remained the same on this lens, all of them telescope.
